Sight in your scope with just 3 shots
1. Shoot a good three shot group from a sandbag or bipod at the distance you want your rifle sighted in at.
2. Place the rifle in a gun vise and adjust the vise and rifle so that the scope’s reticle is back in the center of the bullseye.
3. Without moving the vise or rifle, carefully adjust the scope so that the reticle is in the center of the group you just shot.
4. Now, if you didn’t move your rifle while adjusting the scope, your rifle is sighted in.
Warning: Never shoot from a gun vise, this will change your point of impact.
Make sure you fire another group to make sure everything went OK.
