Hi, my name is Shane Daughtry, I'm a Police Officer, Certified Swat Operator, Certified Police Sniper, Emergency Medical Technician, First Responder and Rescue Specialist. I live West of Camilla Georgia in a small community named Pine Cliff.
I worked as a Police Officer in Pelham Ga. for about four years and as an E.M.T. for Mitchell County E.M.S. I then moved to the Camilla Police Department in 2005. I'm now the Uniform Patrol Division Commander with the rank of Captain.
My wife, Sue, is a Registered Nurse and we've been married for over 20 years. She was a Paramedic and was my supervisor when I was working as an Emergency Medical Technician, that's how we met. We both love to shoot and hunt, Sue once shot a very large bobcat off of a running deer's back then shot the deer at sixty five yards with a 357 magnum pistol.
I also do some computer programming and have made several computer programs using the Visual Basic .Net programming language. I was a Mig, Tig and Self Shielded Metal Arc Welder, Machinist and Shop Foreman in a machine shop for about 25 years and still love to build stuff.
